The Twenty-third Annual Contractors' Golf Classic, presented by ABC Supply Company, Inc., to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundtation. Every year golfers, skilled and not so skilled, come together as an industry for a worthwhile cause - to help fund cystic fibrosis research. The players annual support has given The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation the opportunity to help children and adults who live with, and fight, CF on a daily basis.
In the 23 years Golf Classic has been held, $1.3 million dollars has been raised. The committee, members, in-kind donors, advertisers, and volunteers contributed to the success of this tournament, this year and since 1988.
Jim Kaufman and ABC Supply Company helped bring together the construction industry through homebuilders, remodelers, commercial and residential subcontractors, distributors, and bankers who all participated.
The day included golf at Lakewood Country Club's recently renovated Rees Jones course, participant contests and prizes, lunch, and a post-tournament dinner banquet.
