James Bond? No, but the Hankamer's were all aces.
James Bond? No, but the Hankamer's were all aces.

It was a lavish evening, filled with red carpets, beautiful gowns, and lively entertainment. The Junior League’s ‘Casino Royale’ Charity Ball was a great way to get their year started off with a boom. As ladies quickly took care of the last minute details, the party had started to arrive- it was show time! The evening began with the guests arriving, checking in, and mingling while a slew of photographers readily waited to take their photograph. After the hustle and bustle died down, it was time for the entertainment.

The Junior League’s Charity Ball Chairman, Kimberly Berry Hankamer, took the stage and started the evening off with a quick few words to the guests.  The night was off to a great start and it had only just begun. After an entertaining set by the live dancers and singers, The President of the Junior League, Jeannie Rich Chandler, gave a few words of gratitude to those in attendance. The guests were then informed that dinner was ready to be served.  With a bit more mingling to do, everyone shared a laugh with friends, took more photographs, and slowly found their table for dinner.

After dinner, it was time to hit the casino! The evening was a success: bright lights, great music, and some of Houston’s finest, coming together and supporting a great cause.
