The event is presented as part of the annual eARTh Day celebration organized by the Reston Town Center Association. ChalkFest welcomes artists of all ages and skill levels-from professional artists to enthusiastic amateurs, families and kids. Registered participants will create their own chalk masterpieces in designated squares, with prizes awarded in categories such as Professional Artists, Amateur Artists, Families and Kids, and People’s Choice. To submit your poems and participate, visit: https://bit.ly/4dqzc8p Visitors of all ages are invited to stroll along and watch the pavement come alive as it transforms into a vibrant gallery of chalk art inspired by nature and environmental themes. Throughout the day, artists will fill the park’s surrounding streets with colorful drawings celebrating the beauty of the Earth. But there’s more! There will also be free face painting for children, live music, and other family-friendly activities, making the event a lively and welcoming gathering for the whole community. Local businesses and community groups are also encouraged to participate. ChalkFest ay eARTh Day 2026 is a perfect opportunity for team-building and community engagement.
