Description

Guardian House’s board and luncheon committee request the honor of your presence at the Fourth Annual Guardian House Luncheon on Monday, March 26, 2018 at Pearl Stable.  We proudly announce our keynote speaker is Mayor Ron Nirenberg, and the recipients of this year’s Guardian Angel Award are:

Sondra Grohman, President & CEO, Shining Star ENERGY

Representative Diego Bernal, State District 123.

Ms. Grohman and Representative Bernal inspire our community with their passion and good works to create a better tomorrow for all children. To ensure a better tomorrow, we believe that healthy growth is paramount for our families and sustainability as an organization. This year’s theme – A Future of Healthy Growth – is the essence of where we are and where we have been. In the spirit of embracing the best interest of every child in volatile situations, we aim to teach families how to build strong, positive relationships by teaching patience and understanding in a safe space. Funds raised at our luncheon will allow Guardian House to fulfill that promise.

Guardian House is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation established in 1997 by local judges and county officials who recognized an overwhelming number of children in their courts were subjected to living in highly conflicted or violent homes, had parents in stressful divorce and custody battles, or had parents who were absent from their lives. Research shows how critical it is for children to maintain a safe and healthy relationship with both parents. Guardian House’s parenting classes, supervised visitation and monitored exchange services significantly increase the frequency of noncustodial parent/child contact. Our services decrease parental conflict and prevent emotional and physical cruelty to children who are caught in the middle. The mission of Guardian House is to embrace the best interest of every child by teaching families how to build strong, positive relationships.

Please consider joining us on March 26 and sponsoring the Fourth Annual Guardian House Luncheon.  Your generosity has the potential of saving lives and enriching family relationships across our community.
